The Mini Operas competitions are open to all individuals 16 years of age and over, and to groups of any number of participants, who can be of any age, except ENO employees or those of its affiliates and their close relatives or any person connected to the competition. Entrants under the age of 16 should seek a parent or guardian’s permission before entering. If, after making reasonable attempts, ENO cannot confirm with the parent or guardian that consent has been granted the entry will be disqualified.
All entries submitted must be the work of the individual or group submitting them and must not have been previously published or entered in any competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any image/video assets they include have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the entry they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it. All entries will be accepted based on your agreement of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-Sharealike (CC-BY-NC-SA) licence. By submitting work to Mini Operas you grant others the right to adapt or develop your work as they see fit provided they credit you as the original author and license their work under identical terms.
The scriptwriting competition opens 26 March 2012. Entries must be received by 1700 GMT on 21 May 2012. The composition competition opens 4 June 2012. Entries must be received by 1700 GMT on 23 July 2012. The filmmaking competition opens 6 August 2012. Entries must be received by 1700 GMT on 24 September 2012.
You grant ENO and its partners permission to distribute or otherwise show your submission in any medium for promotional reasons connected to the competition.
ENO’s decision as to the winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
ENO and its partners cannot accept any responsibility for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any server, Internet access, system or otherwise which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered or recorded. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

You agree that ENO or its partners may edit your submission(s) to the extent that they see fit.
ENO reserves the result to cancel the competition at any time and without notice, to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, to amend the competition and/or its terms and conditions at any time and to withhold or withdraw a prize if in its opinion entries do not reach the required standard.
By entering any of the Mini Operas competitions, you confirm that you are legally able to be bound by these terms and conditions, which are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
