We are excited to announce below the ten soundtracks chosen by composer Nico Muhly as finalists in ENO’s Mini Operas competition. Congratulations to our finalists and indeed to everyone who participated in the composing round of Mini Operas.
One of our soundtrack finalists will be chosen to receive a potentially life-changing year’s mentoring with composer Nico Muhly. We will announce the name of that lucky person when Mini Operas draws to a close in October.
These soundtracks will now go through to the third round of Mini Operas, which is for filmmakers and visualisers. Their task is to take one of the above soundtracks and make a film of it. They have until the 23rd of September to submit their film.
